The paint has chipped off the fretboard of my acoustic guitar?
Its chipped off around the second fret of my Fender acoustic guitar. It seems to be deadening the sound sometimes and its beginning to cause a problem. The guitar isn’t very old either. What can I do?

just the coating/paint has come off
Fretboards aren’t painted unless the owner chooses to do so intentionally. That would be ill-advised.
Take your acoustic to a reputable music store and ask the guitar technician what repairs might be needed.
